Dungeon Delvers Incorporated Charter

Purpose:

Dungeon Delvers Incorporated mission is to explore the depths of the earth; the forgotten tombs; the abandoned moutaintop fortresses; the places so dangerous and lethal to civilized society that only an expertly trained, fearless adventurer, can do so and return alive. Of course we expect to receive fair compensation for anything we may pillage, err, steal, I mean, acquire. Would you believe…find?

Membership Structure:

Chief Executive Delver (CED, aka ?)
Chief Operating Delver (COD, aka ?)
Master Delver (MD, aka ?)
Senior Delver (SD, aka ?)
Journeyman Delver (JD, aka ?)
Apprentice Delver (aka, rookie, pleeb, fodder, speedbump)

Charter Definition:

Chief Executive Delver (CED)
  • The CED is empowered to negotiate with potential clients and sign contracts on behalf of the company.
  • The CED is empowered to break any contract with a current client for just cause.
    • Just Cause consists of the following:
      • Negotiating in bad faith (e.g., they’re gonna stab us in the back once we successfully delve)
      • Knowingly hire Dungeon Delvers Incoporated to delve a location in violation of existing laws (including Supernatural or Extra-planer laws)
  • The CED is empowered to fire, without cause, any employee of Dungeon Delvers Incorporated.
  • The CED is expected to assist in securing payment for all services rendered by any employee of Dungeon Delvers Inc. If this proves too difficult, the CED may empower a Master, Senior, Apprentice, or Journeyman to secure the payment.
  • In the absence of a Rogue, Senior, Journeyman, or Apprentice delver, the CED is expected to mark the approximate location of any potential barrier/hindrince to delving. Once an appropriate sucker, errr, expert is found the hindrance may be removed.
  • In the absense of a caster or readily available Divination magic, the CED is directed to securely store any potential potions/elixers/etc for future analysis.
  • For any successful delve that the CED has undertaken, he/she is expected to give [X] percentage of his/her find back to the company.

Chief Operating Delver (COD)
  • The COD is empowered to negotiate with potential clients and sign contracts on behalf of the company.
  • The COD is empowered to break any contract with a current client for just cause.
    • Just Cause consists of the following:
      • Negotiating in bad faith (i.e., they’re gonna stab us in the back once we successfully delve)
      • Knowingly direct Dungeon Delvers Incoporated to delve a location in violation of existing laws (including Supernatural or Extra-planer laws)
  • The COD is empowered to manage the finances of Dungeon Delvers Incorporated. The COD may seek, with prior approval from the CEO, aid in this effort from any Master or Senior delver.
  • The COD is empored to fire, without cause, any employee of Dungeon Delvers Incorporated.
  • The COD is expected to assist in securing payment for all services rendered by any employee of Dungeon Delvers Inc. If this proves too difficult, the COD may empower a Master, Senior, Apprentice, or Journeyman to secure the payment.
  • In the absence of a Rogue, Senior, Journeyman, or Apprentice delver, the COD is expected to mark the approximate location of any potential barrier/hindrince to delving. Once an appropriate sucker, errr, expert is found the hindrance may be removed.

  • Master delvers are empowered to negotiate with potential clients and sign contracts on behalf of the company.
  • Master delvers are empored to fire, with cause, any employee of Dungeon Delvers Incorporated.
  • Master delvers are expected to assist in securing payment for all services rendered by any employee of Dungeon Delvers Inc. If this proves too difficult, a Master delver may empower a Senior, Apprentice, or Journeyman to secure the payment.
  • Master delvers are empowered to manage and oversee the proper outfitting of all Dungeon Delver employees.
  • In the absence of a Rogue, Senior, Journeyman, or Apprentice delver, a Master delver is expected to mark the approximate location of any potential barrier/hindrince to delving. Once an appropriate sucker, errr, expert is found the hindrance may be removed.
  • In the absense of a caster or readily available Divination magic, a Senior delver is directed to securely store any potential potions/elixers/etc for future analysis.
  • For those Master members that have successfully delved, they are expected to give [X] percentage of their find back to the company.

Senior Delver
  • Senior delvers are empowered to negotiate with potential clients and sign contracts on behalf of the company.
  • Senior delvers are expected to assist in securing payment for all services rendered by any employee of Dungeon Delvers Inc. If this proves too difficult, a Senior delver may empower an Apprentice or Journeyman to secure the payment.
  • In the absence of a Rogue, Journeyman, or Apprentice delver, a Senior delver is expected to open any doors/chests/portals/etc.
  • In the absense of a caster or readily available Divination magic, a Senior delver is directed to securely store any potential potions/elixers/etc for future analysis.
  • For those Senior members that have successfully delved, they are expected to give [X] percentage of their find back to the company.

Journeyman Delver
  • In the absence of a Rogue and an apprentice delver, a Journeyman is expected to open any doors/chests/portals/etc.
  • In the absense of a caster or readily available Divination magic, a Journeyman delver is expected to test all Potions/Elixers/etc.
  • Unless they’ve been authorized (by a Senior Delver or higher) to act on their own, Journeyman delvers will not get the first pick of any shiny bits or items of interest.
  • For those Journeymen that have successfully delved, they are expected to give [X] percentage of their find back to the company.

Apprentice Delver
  • In the absence of a Rogue, an Apprentice delver is expected to open any doors/chests/portals/etc.
  • In the absense of a caster or readily available Divination magic, an Apprentice delver is expected to test all Potions/Elixers/etc.
  • Unless they’ve been authorized (by a Master Delver or higher) to act on their own, Apprentice delvers will not get the first pick of any shiny bits or items of interest.
  • For those Apprentices that have successfully delved, they are expected to give [X] percentage of their find back to the company.
Team Deliverables:
  • All team members are expected to actively look for:
    • Clients, preferably those that pay up front.
    • Scraps of lore and/or legend that may provide an opportunity for Dungeon Delvers Inc to, well, delve :). And finds lots of shiny bits with which we can further advance our fame and reputation of course.
Code of Conduct:
  • Finally, all employees of Dungeon Delvers Incoporated are expected to act, at all times, in the best interests of the company.
